Southwest Georgia Farm Credit

Southwest Georgia Farm Credit values the expertise and leadership of its Board of Directors, which serves the 21 counties within the Association’s territory.

Bobby J. Brooks, Chairman, farms peanuts and cotton and is currently serving a three-year term which will expire in 2012. Mr. Brooks also serves on the boards of Clay Co., Inc., Edison Gin Company, and Clay County Farm Bureau.

Robert B. Moss, Vice Chairman, is an Association outside director who is presently serving a term through 2013. Mr. Moss is a retired Superintendent of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Southwest Georgia Branch Experiment Station, Plains, Georgia. Mr. Moss is currently a part-time farm management consultant and member of the Plains Lions Club and Director of the Plains Better Home Town Board.

T.E. Allen, III, is a peanut and cotton farmer. His term will expire in 2012. Mr. Allen also serves on the boards of Quality Gin, People’s Warehouse, and First United Ethanol, LLC.

Jeffrey A. Clark is a Professor of Finance at The Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. He was appointed as an Association outside director, and is serving a three-year term which will expire in 2014

.James H. Dixon, Jr. is a poultry farmer whose term will expire in 2014.

Clifford Dollar, Jr. is a peanut, cotton and cattle farmer who also serves as Board President of Sowega Cotton, Inc. Mr. Dollar’s term expires in 2012.

Robert L. Holden, Sr., a dairy, poultry and row crop farmer. Mr. Holden, whose term will expire in 2013, also serves on several regional boards, including as Board Vice President of Georgia Milk Producers Association, First United Ethanol, LLC., and the Grady County Farm Bureau.

B.E. Powell is a farmer whose term will expire in 2013. He also serves on the Marion County Hospital Authority Board.
